High-performance cold chambers for equestrian sports

Art of Cryo is commissioned by a world-famous stud farm to develop and build a high-performance cold chamber in which two horses can be treated or prepared for competition at the same time at a temperature of -110 degrees.

As the most experienced manufacturer of special projects in the field of ultra-low temperature refrigeration technology, Art of Cryo is developing a high-performance refrigeration chamber in XXL format for this order. In order to achieve the required performance, each individual horse chamber is equipped with its own high-performance refrigeration unit. Whole-body cryotherapy for horses not only offers the horses the advantage of faster regeneration and relaxation before and after races, but also helps to maintain the health and well-being of the animals. With cryotherapy in the special cold chamber models, the animals are more balanced and able to perform better in sport and can also be used for breeding for longer by maintaining their health. For horse owners, horses and riders, cryotherapy represents an enormous step towards animal welfare in equestrian sport.

Art of Cryo's state-of-the-art cryogenic technology enables people and animals to experience stress-free, soothing and successful whole-body cryotherapy in the high-performance electric cold chambers.

Horses that already use cold therapy as part of their training programme have shown that cold therapy has a calming effect on them and that they are happy to perform their cold treatments without any signs of stress or pain.
