With the opening of the MCRC Cryo Race Center in Kirchberg near Kitzbühel, the Mitterer family is bringing a globally unique multi-cryo-health-system concept to Tyrol in Austria.
Guests, visitors and customers from Munich, Innsbruck and Salzburg will be able to enjoy this unique concept within an hour's drive. With the planning, development and implementation of the innovative and exceptional overall concept, which focuses on genuine cryotherapy, Susanne Mitterer has taken a pioneering step in the field of genuine cryotherapy with high-performance cold chambers.
Through the size of the facility, its strategic location, and research collaborations with the cryotherapy research centre RemediCool in Cologne and the research department of MCRC AG in Vaduz, as well as the use of high-tech innovations not yet available on the medical market, Kitzbühel can be integrated into global research efforts in the field of cryotherapy and combination therapies with its own research department. This will create an exceptional hotspot for genuine cryotherapy and human performance in Tyrol.

Application Systems
- 2 Art of Cryo single Vaultz V1 Lux High-Performance Cold Chamber Systems:
One corner variant with sufficient space for movement and stretching mobilisation in the post-operative rehabilitation area, a variant in a square format for an unforgettable cryotherapy high. Both chambers are equipped with high-performance refrigeration units for stable sub-zero temperatures at -85°C.
- A type of Cryo V2 vario Vaultz high-performance cold chamber:
With this high-performance model from Art of Cryo, up to 5 people can experience cryotherapy at the same time. This high-performance cold chamber system is the most economical cold chamber model on the cryotherapy market worldwide. With over 25 years of experience, a new high-performance refrigeration unit has been developed which supplies the V2 with a real and stable -110°C.
- 2 Art of Cryo Flow Systems:
These highly effective vacuum and overpressure systems for lymphatic drainage, regeneration, and performance enhancement are the optimal complementary and combination therapy systems to classic cryotherapy in a high-performance cold chamber.
- A multi-CryoHacking system
This system has a spectrum of over 200 combination and supplementary therapy options in the areas of cryotherapy, oxygen application, applications with ionised breathing air, thermal application and light application.
Diagnostic and measuring systems
- 3D body scan
The highly efficient 3D body scan creates a millimetre-accurate avatar of the body in just a few seconds and measures all body regions with high precision to provide customers and guests with proof of cryotherapy and combination applications. This state-of-the-art measurement system is also used in cryotherapy research to demonstrate effective and efficient cryotherapy in the performance sector.
- MCRC Vital X
The high-precision cardiometry system can be used to record vital data such as heart rate variability, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, oxygen desaturation and body temperature in real-time monitoring before, during and after a cold chamber application or combination application and transmit them to the RemediCool software/app. In future, all cryotherapy applications and combination applications can be created and controlled by real-time monitoring of the application duration, application intensity, application pause, application repetition and combination variants.
- Breathing gas analysis system
By analysing the metabolism via a respiratory gas measurement and combining the cardiovital data from the MCRC Vital X, dynamic nutrition, sport and exercise plans can be created for all customers and guests. These are transferred directly to the customer's RemediCool app.
- Medical Thermo Diagnostic System
This pioneering diagnostic and measurement system from the field of medical thermodiagnostics can record and visualise the effect of cold on the human body with high precision. This research and diagnostic system shows even the smallest temperature differences in the various joints, extremities and trunk of the body after a real and intensive application of cold. A special rotation system was developed for this purpose, which rotates the body of the person being examined 360° in front of the measuring unit at a fixed and optimum speed. This research work is being carried out in collaboration with a highly specialised team of doctors from South Korea.
Control, calculation and communication systems
- RemediCool Software
Software specifically developed for cryotherapy and cold applications to determine optimal application time and frequency. These specially developed algorithms are now used in an advanced form for application time calculation within the Multi-CryoHacking System and Flow System in a real-time monitoring process. The RemediCool software is then used to control the application time, application intensity, and combination variants with other application systems for individual systems in real time. RemediCool has communication interfaces to the high-performance cold chambers, the 3D body scan, MCRC Vital X, Medical Thermo Diagnostic System, Multi-CryoHealth System, the Flow System, and the respiratory gas analysis system. Data is calculated based on body weight, age, gender, height, treatment area, sleep patterns, stress level, heart rate variability, oxygen saturation, body temperature, and blood pressure.
- RemediCool App
The popular RemediCool app for health-conscious people communicates in real time with the various application, diagnostic and measurement systems of the Multi-Cryo-Health-System Group at the user's request, so after a complete tour of the Cryo-Performance Centre, the customer can have an evaluation of their cardio data, metabolic values and statistics and recordings of vital data in a clear form. Of course, the customer can use the highly complex app to manage their credit balance, manage, give away or redeem purchased applications, record nutrition plans, document posture analyses and the results of the 3D body scan. When making appointments, customers can easily combine and book different types of treatments and combinations with just a few clicks. The RemediCool app is updated on an ongoing basis and already has countless features from the New Health area.
- MCRC Software
The MCRC software is a highly complex control and communication software. This software is used in cryotherapy research and in the realisation of MCRC AG multi-cryo power sessions. Based on a comprehensive medical history and the vital data of the MCRC Vital X, such as heart rate variability, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and oxygen desaturation, the MCRC software calculates the optimum time in the cold chamber and the optimum pause times for Multi-Cryo-Power applications. This is the only way to ensure safe and optimum cold applications within a precisely defined period of time, leading to a unique feeling of elation. The highly complex software naturally has interfaces to all diagnostic, measurement and application systems of the Multi-Cryo-Health systems.
- MCRC App
The MCRC app was developed for members of the Multi-Cryo-Race-Club and is available for IOs and Android. The app has an event calendar, a display of worldwide rankings, the total number of sessions, long-term vital data tracking and a display of vital data in real time. Of course, the app also has an interface to the MCRC Vital X. In addition, each participant can record and keep an emotion logbook entry to document and remember an unforgettable event. The MCRC app has a new type of emotion logbook in which the pupil size, speech rate and loud-quiet rhythm are recorded and can be played back.
New features from the New Health area will be released in February 2023. The Mitterer family spared no expense or effort in the development, planning and implementation of the globally unique concept in order to offer all guests, customers and patients in the south of Germany, the Munich area, the Innsbruck area, the Salzburg area, Tyrol and all over the world a pioneering multi-cryo health performance centre.
