With the opening of the MCRC Cryo Race Center in Kirchberg near Kitzbuehel, the Mitterer family brings a worldwide unique Multi-Cryo-Health-System concept to Tyrol in Austria.
Guests, visitors and customers from Munich, Innsbruck and Salzburg will be able to enjoy this unique concept in less than an hour’s drive. With the planning, development and implementation of the innovative and extraordinary overall concept, in which real cryotherapy takes centre stage, Susanne Mitterer has taken a pioneering step in the field of real cryotherapy with high-performance cryotherapy chambers.
Due to the size of the object, the strategic location and the research cooperation with the cryotherapy research centre RemediCool in Cologne and the research department of MCRC AG in Vaduz, and the use of high technologies which are not yet available on the medical market, Kitzbuehel can be integrated into the worldwide research work in the field of cryotherapy and combination therapies with its own research department. Thus, an extraordinary hotspot for real cryotherapy and human performance is being created in Tyrol.

- 2 Art of Cryo single Vaultz V1 Lux high-performance cryotherapy chamber systems:
One of which is a corner version with ample space for movement and stretch mobilisation in the post-operative post-treatment area, and a square format version for an unforgettable cryotherapy high. Both chambers have high-performance refrigeration units for stable minus temperatures at -85°C.
- An Art of Cryo V2 vario Vaultz high-performance cryotherapy chamber:
This high-performance model from Art of Cryo allows up to 5 people to experience cryotherapy simultaneously. This high-performance cryotherapy chamber system is the most economical cryotherapy chamber model in the cryotherapy market worldwide. Through over 25 years of experience, a new high-performance refrigeration unit has been developed that provides V2 with a real and stable -110°C.
- 2 Art of Cryo Flow Systems:
These highly effective vacuum and positive pressure systems are for lymphatic drainage, regeneration and performance enhancement are the optimal complementary and combination therapy systems to classical cryotherapy in a high-performance cryotherapy chamber.
- A Multi-CryoHacking System
This system has a spectrum of over 200 combination and complementary therapy options in the field of cryotherapy, oxygen application, applications with ionised breathing air, thermal application and light application.
Diagnostic and measuring systems
- 3D body scan
The highly efficient 3D body scan creates a millimetre-precise avatar of the body in a few seconds and measures all body regions with high precision to document the proof of cryotherapy and combination applications for clients and guests. This state-of-the-art measuring system is also used in cryotherapy research to prove that cryotherapy is effective and efficient in the performance area.
- MCRC Vital X
This high precision cardiometry system can record vital data such as heart rate variability, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, oxygen desaturation and body temperature in real-time monitoring before, during and after a cryotherapy chamber application or a combination application and transmit this data to the RemediCool software/app. Thus, in the future, all cryotherapy applications and combination applications can be created and controlled by the real-time monitoring in the area of application duration, application intensity, application pause, application repetition and combination variations.
- Breathing gas analysis system
Through metabolic analysis via respiratory gas measurement, and the combination of cardiovital data from the MCRC Vital X, dynamic nutrition and sport and exercise plans can be created for all clients and guests. These are transmitted directly to the client’s RemediCool app.
- Medical Thermo Diagnostic System
This pioneering diagnostic and measurement system from the field of medical thermo-diagnostics can record the effect of cold on the human body with high precision and display it in images. After a real and intensive application of cold, this research and diagnostic system shows even the smallest temperature differences in the various joints, extremities and the body torso. For this purpose, a special rotation system was developed, which rotates the body of the person being examined 360° in front of the measuring unit at a fixed and optimal speed. In this research work, there is a research cooperation with a highly specialised team of doctors from South Korea.
Control, calculation and communication systems
- RemediCool software
A software specially developed for cryotherapy and cold applications to determine the optimal application time and application repetition. In the meantime, these specially developed algorithms are used in a further developed form for the application time calculation in the Multi-CryoHacking System and Flow System in the real-time monitoring process. The RemediCool software is then used to control the individual systems application time, application intensity and combination variants with other application systems in real time. RemediCool has communication interfaces to the high-performance cryotherapy chambers, the 3D body scan, MCRC Vital X, Medical Thermo Diagnostic System, Multi-CryoHealth System, the flow system and the respiratory gas analysis system. Data is calculated based on body weight, age, gender, height, application area, sleep patterns, stress levels, heart rate variability, oxygen saturation, body temperature and blood pressure.
- RemediCool App
The popular RemediCool App for the health-conscious communicates in real time with the various application and diagnostic and measurement systems of the Multi-Cryo-Health-System Group at the user’s request. Thus, after a complete run through the Cryo-Performance Centre, the customer can have an evaluation of his cardio data, his metabolic values and statistics and recordings of vital data in a clear form. Of course, the customer can use the highly complex app to manage their credit, manage purchased applications, give them away or redeem them, record nutrition plans, posture analyses and document the results of the 3D body scan. In the appointment area, customers can easily combine and book different types of applications and combination options with just a few clicks. The RemediCool app is continuously updated and already has countless features from the New Health area.
- MCRC Software
The MCRC software is a highly complex control and communication software. This software is used in cryotherapy research and in the implementation of Multi-Cryo-Power-Sessions of the MCRC AG. On the basis of an extensive anamnesis sheet and the vital data of the MCRC Vital X such as heart rate variability, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and oxygen desaturation, the MCRC software calculates the optimal time in the cryotherapy chamber, as well as the optimal pause times for Multi-Cryo-Power applications. Only in this way can safe and optimal cold applications lead to a unique high feeling in a precisely defined period of time. The highly complex software naturally has interfaces to all diagnostic, measuring and application systems of the Multi-Cryo-Health systems.
- MCRC Ap
The MCRC App was developed for members of the Multi-Cryo-Race Club and is available for IOs and Android. The app has an event calendar, a display of worldwide rankings, total number of sessions, vital signs long-term tracking and a display of vital signs in real time. Of course, the app also has an interface to the MCRC Vital X. In addition, an emotion log entry can be recorded and kept by each participant to document and remember an unforgettable event.
The MCRC app has a new type of emotion logbook in which the recording of pupil size, speech rate and loud-quiet rhythm takes place and can be replayed.
New features from New Health will be released in February 2023.
